Something about me
Growing up, I've always had a passion for both technology and art.
In my spare time, I loved watching scientific documentaries or nerding on the PC, but I also loved drawing or playing piano trying to compose some music.
I have always seen myself as both a creative and rational person and I like to incorporate these two aspects in everything I do, driven by the will to improve all the things
that surround me, but also the need add my own creative touch into whatever project I'm tasked with.
I have always dreamt of having a career combining my love for computers with my passion for art - nothing does this
better than creating video games.
After obtaining my bachelor degree in Computer Science in Turin, Italy, I decided to follow my gut and undertake the career of a Game Developer,
studying for MSc in Computer Games Technology at the University of Abertay, Scotland. I immediately understood that decision couldn't be more right.
I never felt so enraptured by doing something other than working on video games, writing code to make a simple object spring to life, solving dozens of problems each day and feeling so fulfilled in doing so.
I am told I am a child at heart, a person who will never stop playing and see things through the lens of a child. I think through video games I can deliver that childlike wonder to various people.
I hope to make someone forget about their responsibilities and make them smile for a while, or instil a sense of playful fear through a horror experience or surprise them with imaginative wonders and carefully crafted worlds.
This is ultimately why I aspire to be a game developer.
